A little about me

I was born and raised in Central Indiana, and I'm proud to call Fishers home, where I live with my wife and daughter. I'm an honorably discharged U.S. Navy veteran — I served from 1991 to 1995 — and I hold a bachelor's degree from Indiana University-Indianapolis and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. I've been helping Indiana families with residential mortgage financing since 1998, and I've worked with thousands of clients over the years. I'm one of only six loan officers in the state of Indiana to have earned the Five Star Mortgage Professional Award 15 times — an honor awarded to fewer than 2% of mortgage professionals in the state. I believe long-term success is built on trust, relationships, and consistently doing what is best for the client. My business has been built almost entirely through referrals from past clients and professional partners, which I see as a reflection of the commitment to exceptional service, clear communication, and attention to detail I try to bring to every transaction.

Why I built this

After more than 25 years in the mortgage business, I kept hearing the same thing from people sitting across from me: nobody ever explained any of this to me. Smart, capable people were making one of the biggest decisions of their lives while guessing. So I started writing down the answers I give every day, and this site is what came of it.

How I try to help

I lay the whole process out in plain language, stage by stage, with the checklists and calculators you actually need at each point. No jargon. No pressure to hurry. Just the honest version of what happens, what it costs, and what to do next.

What you can expect from me

I will tell you the truth about your situation, even when it is not what you were hoping to hear. If waiting six months puts you in a better spot, I will say so. If you are more ready than you think, I will say that too. You will never get a sales pitch from me.
